Dr. Mazibur Rahman made acting BAEC Chairman
Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) has appointed Dr. Md. Mazibur Rahman as the organization's Acting Chairman with effect from 18 August 2025.
Dr. Md. Mazibur Rahman completed PhD from Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium in 2003. He accomplished Post Doctoral course in Germany in 2008. Dr. Md. Mazibur Rahman has published more than 50 research papers in domestic and international journals.
During his decorated professional career, Dr. Md. Mazibur Rahman has visited different countries including Germany, Belgium, Russia, USA, United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Thailand etcetera.
Dr. Md. Mazibur Rahman was born at Chandina under Cumilla district in 1966. His spouse is a Professor in Dhaka University. The couple is blessed with one son and one daughter.
