Bangladeshi researcher contributes globally in US logistics and data analytics

 
In the United States, Md. Fakhrul Islam Sumon, a professional from Bangladesh, is establishing himself through his work in data analytics and logistics. As a Logistics Specialist at CNC Enterprises Inc., he supports operations for Hyundai Glovis, a top supply chain and logistics company in the world.

Beyond his work at the company, Sumon has made a substantial contribution to global research. Twelve peer-reviewed publications have been written by him, he has a UK-approved patent, and he frequently reviews papers for reputable international journals published by Elsevier, Wiley, and Springer.  Over 200 scholarly citations globally are a testament to his research and professional accomplishments, which demonstrate his influence in the domains of artificial intelligence, supply chain management, and sustainable development.

"As a Bangladeshi working in the United States, my goal is to add value both to my country and to the global community."

Sumon remarked, reflecting on his trip. I want my job to be effective, long-lasting, and significant, whether it be in Supply Chain &logistics or renewable energy research.

Young Bangladeshis aspiring to work abroad in data science, logistics, and STEM fields are motivated by his accomplishments. Sumon, who is now employed in the United States under the OPT program, intends to keep making progress in research and higher education in the years to come.
