July Shaheed Smriti DC Gold Cup Football begins in Bogura

The July Shaheed Smriti Deputy Commissioner Gold Cup Football Tournament, organised by the District Administration and District Sports Organization Bogura, was inaugurated at the football field adjacent to Bogura Shaheed Chandu Stadium on Sunday, Bogura Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hosna Afroza inaugurated the tournament as chief guest by releasing balloon festoons and pigeons.Bogura Municipality Administrator Masum Ali Beg and Additional Superintendent of Police Asaduzzaman were present as special guests.

The function was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Imrul Kayes and was attended by Bogura District Sports Association Convening Committee Member Secretary Toshaddeq Hossain, Tournament Committee Member Secretary and District Sports Officer Alamgir Hossain, Dupchanchia Upazila Executive Officer Shahrukh Khan, Sariakandi Upazila Executive Officer Acting Atiqur Rahman, Bangladesh District and Divisional Activities Organizers Association Member Secretary Syed Aminul Haque Dewan Sajal, former General Secretary of the District Sports Association MR Siddique Lemon, Bogura District Sports Association Ad Hoc Committee Members Khawaja Abu Hayat Hiru, Hasan Ali Alal, Khaled Mahmud Rubel, Mostafa Mughal, Hasan Molla, etc.In the day's first match Dupchanchia Upazila defeated Sariakandi Upazila by 1-0 goal. Robin scored the only goal for Dupchanchia in the 32nd minute in the second half. Robin was adjudged the player of
the match.
