Chinese ambassador meets Prime Minister Karki
Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song paid a courtesy call on Nepal’s interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki at Singha Durbar on Thursday.
During the meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office, Ambassador Chen congratulated Karki on assuming office as the country’s new executive head.
Karki took charge as interim prime minister following the resignation of former prime minister KP Sharma Oli in the wake of the Gen Z protests.
The meeting highlighted continued diplomatic engagement between Nepal and China as the new government assumes office.
