Airtel, the youth-centric brand of Robi Axiata PLC, has officially launched a national esports tournament, Airtel Gaming Arena', designed to energize and unite Bangladesh's rapidly growing esports community. Alongside this, Airtel announced a strategic partnership with PUBG MOBILE, the country's most popular mobile game. The announcements were made on Monday during a press conference at Robi's corporate office in Dhaka.
Esports in Bangladesh has evolved beyond a casual pastime into a competitive arena for the youth. Recognizing this cultural shift, Airtel is stepping forward to actively support the gaming ecosystem. The Airtel Gaming Arena will serve as a formal national-level competitive platform, giving young gamers the opportunity to showcase their talent and compete at scale.
As part of the initiative, Airtel signed a Memorandum of Understanding with PUBG MOBILE, opening the door for Airtel users to enjoy exclusive collaborations, special events, and unique gaming experiences. The partnership marks an important milestone in strengthening Airtel's presence in Bangladesh's gaming landscape
