AL leader BM Mozammel Haque arrested

BM Mozammel Haque, Organizing Secretary of banned outfit Awami League has been arrested. BM Mozammel Haque was Awami League's elected Member of Parliament (MP) from Shariatpur-1 constituency.

Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested BM Mozammel Haque from the capital's Niketan area. Deputy Police Commissioner Muhammad Talebur Rahman, Media and Public Relations Wing of DMP conveyed this information to journalists on Sunday afternoon (5 October 2025). Deputy Police Commissioner Muhammad Talebur Rahman stated that BM Mozammel Haque is accused in four police cases including three murder cases in Dhaka city.
