UK Jubo League leader arrested in Sylhet

 
Police force has arrested Kayser Ahmad Hossain from Sylhet who has been a prominent Jubo League leader in the United Kingdom for last couple of decades. He was detained from Baghbari area of Sylhet city on Sunday (5 October 2025) by Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP).

SMP officers have informed that an arrest warrant was issued on Kayser Ahmad Hossain a few months ago in connection with criminal cases. Kayser Ahmad Hossain was picked up from his residence in Sylhet city.

Kayser Ahmad Hossain was produced before a Sylhet court on Monday. The Judge declined his bail petition and the detainee was sent to jail, according to Kayser Ahmad Hossain's lawyer Taj Uddin.

It may be added that Kayser Ahmad Hossain is a renowned businessman in the United Kingdom.
