DNCC to vaccinate 13 lakh children against typhoid

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) is set to launch next week an anti-typhoid vaccination campaign for children aged between 9 to 15 years within its purview in the capital, officials said on Wednesday. "We will vaccinate the children below 15 years within our jurisdiction whether or not they have birth registrations during the 18-day long campaign starting October 12," DNCC's chief health officer Brigadier General Imrul-Al-Quais Chowdhury said.
