Ex PDB Chief Engineer Abdul Jalil passes away

Mohammad Abdul Jalil, former Chief Engineer of Power Development Board (PDB) passed away on Saturday (11 October 2025) at around 10 pm at night. He was undergoing medical treatment in the capital's Combined Military Hospital (CMH). He was 78 years old at the time of his death.

Mohammad Abdul Jalil has left behind his wife, two sons and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.

PDB Chairman Md. Rezaul Karim has expressed deep condolences at the death of Mohammad Abdul Jalil. Md. Rezaul Karim also sympathized with Mohammad Abdul Jalil's bereaved family.

Mohammad Abdul Jalil worked for the power sector of Bangladesh from 1970 up to 2004 with fame and glory.
