Good governance and integrity will be sustained in Ansar-VDP Bank: DG

 
A press release from the Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP) Headquarters informed yesterday that some anomalies have been spotted in certain monetary breaches in the Noakhali and Senbag branches of Ansar-VDP Development Bank which happened from 2020 to 2025. According to the press release, two audit teams have been set up to run thorough inquiries about the above irregularities.

Ansar-VDP Director General Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud exchanged views with journalists on Monday (20 October 2025) at Ansar-VDP Headquarters in Dhaka. Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud assured that comprehensive efforts will be utilized to sustain rule of law, good governance, accountability and integrity inside Ansar-VDP forces as well as in all activities of Ansar-VDP Development Bank.

Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud said that core banking system (CBS) has been introduced to digitalize all operations of Ansar-VDP Development Bank and to ensure full transparency complying with Bangladesh Bank's statutory laws. Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud stated that honesty, dedication, professional competence and financial transparency are being judged while making decisions on promoting Ansar-VDP officers to higher ranks.
