To strengthen digital awareness and mental resilience among youth, The Bangladesh Resonaire (TBR), a non-profit social development organization, has announced an extensive digital literacy and mental health support initiative to be implemented by December 2025.
Under the programme, 40 young participants will undergo digital literacy training to enhance responsible online engagement and strengthen protection against digital threats, BSS reports.
This announcement was made at a seminar titled 'Cyber bullying and young Women in Bangladesh: Healing, Empowerment and Awareness' held at the Dr. Abdullah Faruq conference hall at the Dhaka University this afternoon.
Residential Psychiatrist at Central Drug Addiction Treatment Center Dr. Md. Rahanul Islam, Bangladesh Supreme Court lawyer and legal adviser Advocate Ashraf Jalal Khan, Kaler Kantho Associate Editor Sanjida Islam Jui and Polity Action Lab founder Nivedita Biswas were present as speakers at the seminar.
Speaking at the event, TBR president Jannatul Nowrin Urmi said, "Our mission is to nurture a digitally responsible generation who will use technology ethically and stand resilient against online violence or harassment."
