Ashulia Print Media Journalist Association gets new body

A 31-member new committee of Ashulia Print Media Journalist Association has been formed on Saturday.

Tuhin Ahmed of Naya Diganta Ashulia correspondent has been elected as the president while Nazrul Islam Manik of the Daily Dinkal has been named general secretary.

The new committee has been formed for next two years. Other office bearers are-Vice-Presidents Mehedi Hasan Mithu of Jugantor and Abul Kashem of The Asian Age, Joint-General Editor Mashiur Rahman of Dainik Bhorer Darpan, Organizing Secretary Shamim Iqbal of Alokito Bangladesh, Treasurer Golam Manjur Morshed Chowdhury of Dainik Karotoa, Publicity and Publication Secretary Md. Shafiullah of Bortaman Sangbad, Office Secretary of Dainik Fulkir Shahadat Hossain, Sports and Cultural Secretary Shakil Sheikh of Bhorer Khabar, Executive Member Zahirul Islam Khan Liton of Dainik Rupali Bangladesh, Aminul Islam of The Daily Observer and Omar Faruk of Kaler Kantha.

Ashulia Press Club President Laiju Ahmed Chowdhury, Ashulia Television Journalists Club General Secretary Shefali Mitu, and journalists of various levels working in Savar and Ashulia were present at the committee announcement ceremony.
