Over 200 indigenous people join BNP  in Gazipur

More than two hundred indigenous people have joined BNP at program held in Gazipur on Monday. 

At that time, BNP leaders and activists welcomed them with flowers. BNP Joint Health Affairs Secretary and nomination aspirant Professor Dr. SM Rafiqul Islam Bacchu welcomed the indigenous people with flowers as the chief guest. 

Addressing the indigenous people, Bacchu said, "After independence, it was the Awami fascists who tortured the minority people. You will consider BNP a safe party. If BNP forms a government in future, then this government will be safe for you."

"BNP is a party where everyone can be in the party. Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, regardless of religion, caste. We are all Bangladeshis", he said. 

Gazipur Sadar Upazila BNP convener Abu Taher Musli presided over the program while convening committee member Joynal Abedin Rizvi, Bangladesh Koch Adivasi Union general secretaries Rupchan Barman and Ripon Ahmed, HEED Bangladesh executive director Anwar Hossain along with other leaders and activists were present on the occasion.
