'Proper education must to be successful in life'

Students must be well-educated to be successful in life and make themselves competent for future, said BNP Standing Committee Member Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain.  He came up with the remarks while addressing an award ceremony for the 2025 SSC GPA-5 achieving students at Daudkandi Adarsh High School on Monday.

Addressing the students, he said, "I was also a student of this school like you. I used to get first place in all subjects. There is no such thing as second place in my life. I have taught at Dhaka University. I came into politics by holding the hand of martyred President Ziaur Rahman. I have had to burn a lot of wood and straw in my life. I have had to face many conspiracies and enter politics. Yet I have been successful in life, no conspiracy could keep me down."

The program was presided over by the school's managing committee president MA Sattar while the school's headmaster, Alhaj teacher Jasim delivered the welcome speech.  In his special guest speech, BNP Executive Committee member Dr. Khandaker Maruf Hossain highlighted the success of his father's educational life to the students. Dhaka University teacher Professor Nurul Amin and former secretary Nizam Uddin were present as special guests.

Cumilla North BNP Senior Joint Convener Abul Hashem Sarker, Upazila BNP Convener MA Latif Bhuiyan, Municipal BNP Convener Nur Mohammad Selim, Upazila BNP Joint Convener Jasim Uddin, students of the school, parents and prominent figures of the society were also present at the program.
