Customers' conference of ICB Islamic Bank held in Rajshahi

 
With the slogan "On the path to victory with time", ICB Islamic Bank Rajshahi Branch organized the customers' conference at C&B Kazihata Nanking Darbar Hall in Rajshahi on Sunday.  Bangladesh Bank Executive Director and ICB Islamic Bank Chairman and Managing Director Mujibur Rahman graced the program as the chief guest.

Bangladesh Bank Additional Director Dr. Sumanta Kumar Saha presided over the event while Bangladesh Bank Executive Director (Acting) Shamsul Arefin, eminent ophthalmologist Professor Dr. AKM Muhammad Shahidur Rahman Tarafdar, Director of IBA, Rajshahi University Professor Dr. Md. Shariful Islam, Director of Bangladesh Bank Rajshahi Branch Kaniz Fatema and Senior Vice President of ICB Islamic Bank Head Office Syed Shakhawat Hossain were present as special guests.

Regional Head of Rajshahi and Khulna Region Md. Kamal Hossain delivered the welcome speech.

In his remarks, Bangladesh Bank Executive Director Mujibur Rahman said, "Earlier, customers used to flock to ICC Bank to withdraw money. But now that we have launched a normal banking system, customers are very happy."

Urging customers to take advantage of the service, he said some banks are already unable to provide any money, but there is no negative news about ICB Bank.

While speaking on behalf of the customers, contractor Kazi Shafiqul Alam said, "I have been a customer of this bank for 38 years. Even though the name of the bank has changed three times, I have remained here. I have developed a spiritual relationship with this bank."

The speakers at the event said that the main strength of a bank is its customers. And the main goal of the bank is to provide the best service to those customers. ICB Islamic Bank has strengthened its position in the market since the beginning by ensuring good governance.

More than a hundred customers, including businessmen, professionals and representatives of various organizations, participated in the program.
