Gov’t Azizul Haque College clinch win the opener

On the occasion of the Youth Festival 2025, Government Azizul Haque College defeated Adarsh College 1-0 in the opening game of the inter-college football tournament in Bogura.

Junaid of Azizul Haque College scored the only winning goal in the game held at the football field adjacent to Shaheed Chandu Stadium on Tuesday morning, organized by the Bogura District Administration and District Sports Office.

Bogra Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Md. Masum Hossain declared the opening of the football tournament by releasing balloons and festoons.

Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Atowar Rahman was the special guest. The function was presided over by Bogra District Sports Officer Akram Hossain and was attended by Syed Aminul Haque Dewan Sajal, Member Secretary of Bangladesh District and Divisional Sports Organizers Association, Khwaja Abu Hayat Hiru, Khaled Mahmud Rubel, Mominur Rashid Shahin, Mahfuzul Haque, Ad Hoc Committee Member of Bogra District Sports Organization, Jamilur Rahman Jamil, Venue Manager of Shahid Chandu Stadium, Mostafa Mogal, President of Bogra Sports Reporters Association, Abdul Alim, Physical Education Teacher of Azizul Haque College, Maqsudul Alam Bulbul, Shahidul Islam Swapan, Sports Organizer Atiqur Rahman Atiq, etc. 14 colleges are participating in the tournament.
