18 schools awarded at British Council Partner Schools Principals' Meet 2025

The British Council Partner Schools Principals' Meet 2025 brings together more than 200 English medium school leaders from across the country in a dynamic environment to exchange ideas, share experiences, discuss challenges, and celebrate successes. 

The event was held on November 12, 2025, at Radisson Blu Water Garden in Dhaka. This annual event provides a meaningful platform for the Partner Schools community to connect and reflect on their remarkable achievements.

Stephen Forbes, Country Director Bangladesh, British Council, said, 'It is a privilege to bring together school leaders from our Partner Schools network. This annual gathering helps us connect, share insights, and learn from each other. Congratulations to all the winners in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Green Award, Leadership Programme, Safeguarding, Digital Learning Excellence, and Wellbeing. 

Their initiatives represent fantastic contributions to building a stronger educational community that empowers students and educators to achieve their full potential.'

Maxim Raimann, Exams Director Bangladesh, British Council, highlighted the impact of British Council's large-scale, efficient exam administration. Following this, Zunayed Ahmed, Director Operations Examinations at British Council Bangladesh, delivered a strategic briefing titled "The Value We Deliver: Our Partnership Dividend", showcasing the tangible benefits and impact of the Partner Schools network.

The British Council proudly celebrated the outstanding achievements of schools recognised at this year's awards. Frobel Academy earned top honours for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, while Sir John Wilson School secured wins in both the Green Award and Wellbeing categories. The Leadership Programme spotlighted CIDER International School and Presidency International School as winners, and Scholastica was recognised for excellence in Safeguarding. In the digital space, St. Joseph International School triumphed in Digital Learning Excellence, and Summerfield International School joined the Wellbeing winners' circle. 

These schools exemplify innovation, leadership, and commitment to creating inclusive, sustainable, and supportive learning environments across Bangladesh. The event also featured an engaging presentation on inclusive education titled "Learning Knows No Bounds" by Limia Dewan, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Education Specialist, alongside a briefing on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Online Support for Schools (OSS) delivered by Sana Shahid, Master Trainer, British Council Bangladesh.


To conclude the day, participants enjoyed a vibrant cultural programme celebrating the rich heritage and diversity of Bangladesh. Tahnee Yeasmin, Director of Business Development, closed the session with her remarks.
