Traders declare shutting down countrywide mobile phone shops

Mobile Business Community Bangladesh (MBCB) has declared shutting down all mobile phone shops across Bangladesh. MBCB 
leaders issued this announcement on Wednesday (19 November 2025) while addressing a press conference at Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) office.
MBCB leaders said that they will go for tough agitations if MBCB Secretary General Abu Sayeed Piash is not released within 24 hours. MBCB leaders also threatened to paralyze the country if their demand is not fulfilled immediately.
