France interested in medicine industry and ICT sector: Envoy
France is interested in investment at pharmaceutical industry andICT sector in Bangladesh, said French Ambassador to Bangladesh Jean - Marc Sere-Charlet on Monday during a meeting with Commerce Adviser Sk. Bashir Uddin at his Secretariat office on Tuesday.
He further said that, the French government has been working with Bangladesh to develop trade for a long time and trade, investment as well as economic assistance will be continued in future.
At that time, Bashir Uddin said that, France is a long time trade partner of Bangladesh and there is a huge potentiality to enhance the partnership through trade expansion between the two countries.
He however came up and said again French investment will boost capital flow into Bangladesh and that may bring a positive sign for the economy.
In addition, French investment could be profitable for France businessmen due to low labor and low production cost in Bangladesh, Adviser mentioned again.
Commerce Ministry's Additional SecretaryAbdur Rahim Khan was present during the meeting.
