Sayem Sobhan Anvir appointed Chief Adviser of BAJUS

Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS), the country’s traditional trade body for the jewellery sector, has appointed Sayem Sobhan Anvir as its Chief Adviser. He was the immediate past president of BAJUS, and is the Chairman of Bashundhara Group. Enamul Haque Khan Dolon, proprietor of Diamond & Divas, has assumed office as the President of BAJUS for a second term. The handover ceremony of the newly elected Board of Directors was completed on Monday afternoon at the BAJUS office in Eskaton, Dhaka. Following the handover, the first meeting of the new board was held. At the meeting, by unanimous decision, Sayem Sobhan Anvir was appointed Chief Adviser, while all former presidents of the organisation were nominated as members of the Advisory Council.

Senior Vice President of BAJUS Ranjit Ghosh, Vice Presidents Iqbal Hossain Chowdhury Jewel, Azad Ahmed, and Abhi Roy, among others, spoke at the meeting.
