Shibir leader threatens to dismantle Udichi, Chhayanaut, leftists

 
Islami Chhatra Shibir, Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit Secretary General Mostafizur Rahman said "We must carry on our fight with the essence we draw from martyred Osman Hadi's Inqilab Mancha. We must dismantle the offices of Shahbagh-centric leftists, Udichi, Chhayanaut etcetera to secure Bangladesh's true liberation".

Mostafizur Rahman made the above comments on Friday (19 December 2025) while addressing a rally at the Shaheed Minar on the Jahangirnagar University campus. An agitating procession was brought out by Islami Chhatra Shibir at Jahangirnagar University in which likeminded student fronts and JU Shibir activists participated and chanted heated slogans against socialist political parties and certain secular cultural organizations.

Shibir leader Mostafizur Rahman said "We have fought against fascist political party Awami League during last 15 years. We have also struggled to deal with India's imperialistic intervention on Bangladesh. Murderous Awami League leader Sheikh Hasina has killed thousands of innocent youngsters across Bangladesh. Now Sheikh Hasina is conspiring against Bangladesh residing on Indian soil."

Mostafizur Rahman called upon the Bangladesh interim government to disconnect all ties with India to pay honour to the martyrdom of Osman Hadi. Mostafizur Rahman also said that all Indians working inside Bangladesh should be sent back to India within 24 hours. He stated that India must hand over Sheikh Hasina to Bangladesh to face prosecution over genocide and human rights abuses.

Mostafizur Rahman termed cultural organizations like Chhayanaut and Udichi as Awami League's proxies. Mostafizur Rahman's furious speech has meanwhile gone viral on Facebook where some people criticized him. Mostafizur Rahman replied on Facebook that Islami Chhatra Shibir wants to drive away all pro Indian entities from the soil of Bangladesh and to wipe out fascist agents from Bangladesh forever.
