Inqilab Moncho has announced another 24-hour ultimatum over its three-point demands and declared that it will take a "Shaheedi Oath" today at 3:00 pm in the capital's Shahbagh.
The announcement was made by Inqilab Mancha Member Secretary Abdullah Al Jaber around 4:00 pm on Monday at the Central Shaheed Minar, after leading a protest march from in front of the National Museum in Shahbagh.
The three demands include conducting investigations through a speedy judicial tribunal with the involvement of international intelligence agencies such as the FBI and Scotland Yard; identifying and prosecuting Awami League collaborators hidden within civil and military intelligence; and ensuring that the Home Affairs Adviser, his Special Assistant, and the Law Adviser first provide explanations and then resign from their posts.
Abdullah Al Jaber said, "On behalf of Inqilab Moncho, we are announcing the Shaheedi Oath on Tuesday."
He added, "At 3:00 pm, we will gather at Shaheed Hadi Square in Shahbagh. In remembrance of those who were forcibly disappeared and killed both before and after July, and placing Shaheed Osman Hadi at the forefront, we will take the Shaheedi Oath together with the people of Bangladesh."
Inqilab Moncho is a cultural organization inspired by the July Revolution that took place in Bangladesh during July-August 2024. The organization aims to oppose all forms of domination and establish a justice-based state that protects freedom and sovereignty.
The founder of the organisation Osman Hadi was shot by assailants linked to Awami League's students' wing Bangladesh Chhatra League. He died from his injuries on December 18, 2025.
