IFIC Bank Uposhakha Business Conference 2026

Withthe goal of business development and sustainable growth, IFIC Bank organizedthe ‘IFIC Bank Uposhakha Business Conference 2026 – Chittagong Region’, whichsaw participation from all the uposhakhas of the bank in the Chittagong region.The full-day conference took place on Saturday, 31 January 2026, at theChittagong Club in the city of Chittagong.

Thechief guest at the event was the honorable Chairman of the bank, Mr. Md. MehmoodHusain. Also present were the bank's Managing Director, Mr. Syed MansurMustafa, Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Regional Manager ofthe Chittagong Region, Mr. Md. Monjurul Mumin, and officials from all uposhakhasof the Chittagong region.

Inhis speech, Mr. Mr. Md. Mehmood Husain emphasized, "The main strength ofIFIC Bank is the trust of our customers and the tireless efforts of thededicated staff working at the grassroots level." He further stated thatin the current competitive banking environment, the uposhakhas play a crucialrole in customer service and expressed optimism that IFIC Bank would establishitself as a reliable and comprehensive banking service center for customers inthe Chittagong region in the future.

Similarly,the bank's Managing Director, Mr. Syed Mansur Mustafa, remarked, "Thewide-reaching network of IFIC Bank’s uposhakhas across the country provides astrong foundation for the bank's business growth. The bank is continuouslyundertaking various initiatives to improve staff competence, career growth, andexpand modern banking services."

Notably, the inaugural address ofthe event was delivered by the Deputy Managing Director and Chief of BranchBusiness, Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, who presented detailed insights on variousbusiness plans. In recognition of their significant contributions to depositmobilization, loan disbursement and recovery, and achievement of operatingprofit, 18 sub-branches were honored with special awards at the conference. Theconference concluded with a question-and-answer session.
