Grand finale of Marks Active School Genius competition held

The grand finale of the “Marks Active School Genius” competition, organized by Marks Active School, an initiative of leading industrial conglomerate Abul Khair Group, in collaboration with 10 Minute School, has been successfully held. Champions from each category received the Champions Trophy along with a scholarship of BDT 150,000. 

The first runners-up received trophies and scholarships worth BDT 100,000, while the second runners-up were awarded trophies along with scholarships of BDT 50,000. Additionally, students securing positions from fourth to tenth place in each category received medals and scholarships of BDT 25,000 each. Through the Marks Active School Genius competition, Abul Khair Group awarded a total of nearly BDT 1.5 million in scholarships to the country’s top-performing students. The competition, which began online in September 2025, saw participation from over one hundred thousand students. After completing multiple competitive rounds, a total of 150 students qualified for the grand finale from three categories—Junior (Grades 5–6), Intermediate (Grades 7–8), and Senior (Grades 9–10).

The final round, featuring talented students from across the country, included assessments of knowledge and skills in Bangla, English, ICT, AI, Fine Arts, and IQ.

After intense competition, the winners in each category were announced. 

In the Junior category, Sadat Sharafat Hossain Chowdhury from BAF Shaheen College, Dhaka, secured first place. Bayezid Islam from Kushtia Police Lines School and College achieved second place, while Md. Nabeeh Hossain from St. Joseph Higher Secondary School secured third place, according to a press release.

In the Intermediate category, Titas Chowdhury from Milestone College secured first place. Mahir Daiyan from Dhaka Residential Model College achieved second place, and Jawwad Chowdhury from Rangpur Zilla School secured third place. In the Senior category, Ammar Ibnu Shamim from University Laboratory School and College secured first place. Md. Ridwanul Islam Riad from Tangail Police Lines Adarsha High School achieved second place, while Asif Mahmud from Government Science High School secured third place. The grand finale was hosted by Ayman Sadiq, Founder and CEO of 10 Minute School. The awards were presented to the winners by Bangladesh National Football Team Captain Jamal Bhuiyan and Ayman Sadiq.

The event also marked the official launch of “Marks Active School Fortified Instant Milk,” enriched with extra nutrition. The product has been formulated with additional vitamins and minerals to support the nutritional needs of school-going students.

Organizers stated that the initiative has encouraged talented students across the country and played a significant role in boosting their confidence and expanding their knowledge. They also expressed their commitment to continuing such initiatives in the future to inspire the next generation of talented learners.
