Full Committee of DU Shibir Announced; Leaders Assigned Key Posts
Abu Huraira, DU Correspondent AA : The full committee of the Islami Chhatra Shibir, Dhaka University (DU) unit has been announced. The committee was made public on Sunday (March 8) through a press release signed by the unit president, Muha. Mohiuddin Khan.
According to the announcement, Asif Imam has been appointed as Office Secretary, while Miftahul Hossain Al Maruf has been made the Publicity and Media Secretary. Nurul Islam Sabbir will serve as Baitul Mal Secretary and Md. Mazharul Islam has been assigned as Human Resource Development Secretary.
In the education sector, Muslimur Rahman has been appointed Education and Training Secretary. Md. Iqbal Haidar has been named Sports Secretary, while Ahsan Habib Imroz will serve as Student Rights Secretary. Hasanul Banna has been made the IT Secretary.
The committee also includes Anas Bin Munir as International Affairs Secretary and Ashikur Rahman Sakib as Dawah Secretary.
Among other appointments, Ashik Billah has been made Skill Development Secretary, Md. Robiul Islam Science Secretary, Hosne Yasin Arafat Business Education Secretary and Md. Zakaria (Sakhawat Zakaria) Law and Human Rights Secretary.
Additionally, Naeem Hossain has been appointed Literature and Culture Secretary, Md. Tawkir Hasan Publication Secretary, Rafid Hasan Safwan Research Secretary and Md. Mahbub Alam (Miraj) Student Welfare Secretary.
Earlier, on January 5, a partial committee for the 2026 session of Islami Chhatra Shibir’s Dhaka University unit was announced. In that committee, Muha. Mohiuddin Khan was elected President, Ashikur Rahman was nominated as Secretary and Mu. Sajjad Hossain Khan was appointed Organizing Secretary.
