The 19th Syndicate meeting of Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh (AAUB) was held at the conference room of Dhaka campus on 06 April 2026. The conference was presided over by the respected Vice Chancellor of the University, Air Vice Marshal M Mustafizur Rahman. At the beginning of the meeting, the Chairman expressed his sincere gratitude and greetings to all present and said that in this era of globalization, technology-based and constantly changing, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, specialized higher education institutions like Aviation and Aerospace University are very important for the country's economic progress and national capacity building. Bangladesh's geographical location, growing civil aviation, defense capabilities and commercial potential in space research - all together, AAUB will serve as a strategic pillar in achieving the progress of the country's air-communication, aviation industry and space technology. He further said that the collective goal of all is to make the university a center of excellence in aviation and aerospace technology through integrated planning, sustainable and quality education, timely research activities and good governance, according to a press release.
The President specifically stated that in every syndicate meeting, very important steps are taken in the overall development and progress of AAUB, its future journey and all the members have an important role in implementing the development plan of the university. This university is an important part of the society and the country. Therefore, we all need to work together to ensure its development and address various challenges. Only through united efforts we can build a strong and thriving learning environment. In the context of the current geopolitical instability, the Vice Chancellor called on everyone to work in unity with the national agenda. He believes that this situation must be addressed through collective efforts.
It is to be mentioned that members of AFD, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, BAF, DU, BUET, Biman and CAAB participated in the meeting, along with other members of the Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh.
