British envoy calls on Defence Adviser Shamsul Islam
British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Sarah Cooke called on the Prime Minister's Defence Adviser Brigadier General (Retd) AKM Shamsul Islam at the Armed Forces Division in Dhaka Cantonment yesterday.Sarah Cooke led a delegation team of four members to the Defence Adviser's office.
Sarah Cooke and AKM Shamsul Islam exchanged greetings and compliments with one another.
They talked about further strengthening the military ties between Britain and Bangladesh, according to a press release received from Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday.
