EU Ambassador Michael Miller watches Bengali film Cha Groom
The Premiere of latest Bengali movie “Cha Gorom” was screened yesterday in Dhaka city on the eve of Pohela Boishakh on Tuesday.
This film offers beautiful cinematography and illustrates a robust portrait of women’s empowerment in Bangladesh.
Oxfam partnered with the European Union to bring humour, emotion and inspiration to the silver screen. European Union Head of Delegation in Dhaka, Michael Miller joined the event as the chief guest. Safa Kabir, Partho Sheikh, Rezwan Parvez, Sarah Jabin Aditi, A. K. Azad Setu played key roles in the film. Another few foreign diplomats were present on the occasion.
