Eid-ul-fitr marks Kabadi competition in Cumilla Sador South
Tarunner Ograjatra Foundation, a platform of young men at Minnat Nagor under Sador South Upazila in Cumilla, organised a Kabadi competition on March 22 on the occasion of Eid-ul-fitr.
Two teams took part in the competition. One was comprising players aged between 18 and 35 years while players of the other team were aged between 36 and 60.
Hundreds of people from different neighbourhoods enjoyed the Kabadi competition.
After the traditional game, the winner and runner-up teams were honored with saplings alongside trophies.
At that time, organizers of the game said their purpose was to strengthen the fraternity among people of Minnat Nagor and neighbourhoods as well as encouraging plantation of trees.
