Ambiguous info allegedly being spread about DIG Rezaul Karim Mallik
Relevant sources have informed that some confusing and ambiguous information about Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Rezaul Karim Mallik is being spearheaded on social media who is currently DIG, Dhaka Range.
People close to Rezaul Karim Mallik have said that he is supposed to get promoted to the Additional IGP rank soon which has made some of his colleagues jealous.
Sources have reported that DIG Rezaul Karim Mallik is a highly efficient officer but an influential quarter wants to hold back his promotion. These unscrupulous fellows reportedly have hired some netizens to propagate false complaints about Rezaul Karim Mallik on social media where he is being subjected to propaganda like taking bribes for the appointment of Officers-in-Charge, unregulated financial transactions and abusing power. It may be recalled that Rezaul Karim Mallik joined Bangladesh Police in 1998 and so far he has held a broad number of vital posts inside police force.
