The three-day 'Jahangirnagar Film Festival-26' concluded on Thursday at Jahangirnagar University (JU) through a series of final-day programmes, marking the curtain call of the festival.
Organised by Bangla Theatre at the Zahir Raihan Auditorium, the concluding day featured an acting masterclass, an interactive session and a closing ceremony, according to organisers, BSS reports.
A masterclass on acting was conducted by filmmaker Mostafizur Noor Imran at 4:00 pm, followed by an interactive session titled 'Our Stories', where participants and organisers shared their experiences and reflections on the festival.
The closing ceremony was held at 8:30 pm, formally bringing an end to the three-day event that began on April 14 with participation from students, filmmakers and media personalities.
The festival featured masterclasses on direction, production and acting, alongside screenings of acclaimed full-length and short films, attracting a
large number of students and film enthusiasts throughout the event.
Earlier, on the second day of the festival, JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan, Proctor Prof Dr A K M Rashidul Alam along with organisers handed over a token of appreciation to the directors and other diganatoires.
