Mohammedan return  winning streak in BFL
With the day's win, the traditional black and white Motijheel outfit Mohammedan moved up sixth position in the league table with 14 points from 13 matches.    -BFF

Following their previous match defeat against arch-rival Abahani Limited, defending champions Mohammedan Sporting Club returned winning streak in the Bangladesh Football League  (BFL) beating Fakirerpool Young Men's Club by 3-0 goals held  at  ShaheedDhirendranathDatta Stadium in Cumilla on Friday.

After the barren first half, forward Joy Ahmed broke the deadlock scoring the first goal for Mohammedan in the 60th minute while midfielder Jewel Mia doubled the lead scoring the second goal in the 90+1st minute of the match.

RafayelTudu completed the tally scoring the third goal for Mohammedan in the 90+6th minute of the match. 

With the day's win, the traditional black and white Motijheel outfit Mohammedan moved up sixth position in the league table with 14 points from 13 matches while bottom-ranked Fakirerpool who are fighting to skip relegation, remained with their previous collection of 10 points playing the same number of matches.  

Meanwhile, Abahani Limited registered a comfortable 3-1 goal win over Bangladesh Police Football Club in the Bangladesh Football League (BFL) held at ShaheedBarkat Stadium in Gazipur at the same day.

In the day's match, Nigerian forward EmekaOgbugh put Abahani Limited ahead in the 33rd minute while forward Mohammad Babu  restored the parity for Police in the 45+2nd minute of the match.

After the resumption, forward Al-Amin again put Abahani ahead scoring the second goal in the 58th minute while midfielder ShekhMorsalin sealed the victory scoring the third goal in the 78th minute of the match.

The day's win saw the traditional sky blue Dhanmondi outfit Abahani Limited again moved to the second position the points table with 25 points from 13 matches while Police, standing fifth position the table, remained with their previous collection of 16 points playing the same number of matches.

Abahani Sheikh Morsalin and Bangladesh Police Football Club's defender Sharif UddinNirob got the marching order by the referee during the match.
At the same day, Bashundhara Kings lost valuable points as they were forced to play by 1-1 goal draw by Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society in the Bangladesh Football League (BFL) held at Birshrestha Flight Lieutenant MatiurRahman Stadium in Munshiganj.

The early breakthrough came for Kings when forward ShahriarEmon scored the first goal in the 13th minute. Ernest Boateng, the Ghanian forward, restored the parity for Rahmatganj in the 42nd minute of the match.

After the resumption, Kings however tried their best to increase the lead but they could not score any in the remaining proceeding and eventually they had to leave the field sharing one point with Rahmatganj.

Despite the day's outcome, Kings remained top of the table with 28 points from 13 matches while the traditional old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj, standing fourth position in the league table, remained with their previous credit of 19 points playing the same number of outings.

On the other hand, Fortis Football Club and ArambaghKriraSangha played out a goalless draw in the Bangladesh Football League at the Bashundhara Kings Arena.

Both sides created several scoring opportunities during the match but failed to convert them due to poor finishing, resulting in a tame stalemate.
