Tanvir Bashundhara Group (TBG) hosted an international combat sports event featuring 12 independent matches and 24 young fighters of four nationalities at the Zulcan Indoor Arena, Bashundhara Sports City on Saturday night.
TBG Managing Director Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan inaugurated the fighting event in the evening. Present at gallery were Safwan Bashundhara Global Chairman SafwanSobhan, Vice Chairman YeashaSobhan, and Sanvir Bashundhara Group Vice Chairman Aemil Ahmed Sobhan, according to a press release.
Fighters from Bangladesh, Thailand, Philippines and Singapore took part in Muay Thai, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), and boxing matches.
The organizers and sports personalities said such kind of events would help popularise Bangladeshi combat sports, motivate the youths in taking up sports, and present an international-standard stage for local young fighters.
