Television host Zillur Rahman's wife Fahmida gets BNP nomination
Popular television host and Tritio Matra talk show anchor Zillur Rahman's spouse Fahmida Haq has secured nomination from Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) for the reserved seats for women parliamentarians. Zillur Rahman is Executive Director of Center for Governance Studies (CGS) too. Fahmida Haq is associated with CGS as a member of the board of directors. She is BNP's assistant secretary for international affairs. Fahmida Haq hails from Belabo upazila under Narsingdi district.
She was brought up in Dhaka. BNP has in the meantime finalized nominations for 36 female candidates for the reserved women seats in the 13th parliament.
