Bangladesh University organizes admission fair
A 6-day-long admission fair for the Summer Semester at Bangladesh University commenced on Sunday (19 April 2026).
The fair was formally inaugurated on Sunday morning at the university's permanent campus in Adabor, Mohammadpur, by the Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh University, Professor Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam. Also present at the event were Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration & Economics Professor Dr. Md. Tajul Islam, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences & Law Professor Md. Humayun Kabir, Head of the Department of Business Administration Prof. Dr. Md. Muzakkirul Huda, Head of the CSE Department Pfof.
Md. Sadiq Iqbal, Head of the Sociology Department Prof. Dr. M. M. Enamul Aziz, Head of the Department of Mathematics Dr. Umme Kulsum Suma, Head of the Department of Architecture Sheikh Itmam Soud, Head of the Department of Law Kazi Latifur Reza, along with students, faculty members, and administrative officials.
It is remarkable that during the fair, students admitted to various departments for the Summer Semester will be eligible for a course fee waiver ranging from a minimum of 10% to a maximum of 100%, based on their SSC and HSC results. Furthermore.
they will receive an additional waiver of BDT 5,000 to 10,000 for admissions completed during the fair. The fair will run daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and will conclude on Friday, 24 April 2026.
