‘24’ returns, Anil Kapoor’s spy saga goes OTT
Anil Kapoor has announced that his spy thriller series 24 will make its OTT debut on JioHotstar on April 24.
The actor shared the news on social media, signaling the return of Jai Singh Rathod, the character that powered the series’ original run.
First aired to strong critical acclaim, 24 stood out for its real-time storytelling format, with each episode covering one hour of a single day.
The series built a loyal following with its high-stakes plot, counter-terrorism action and political intrigue.
Kapoor’s performance as Jai Singh Rathod was widely noted for its intensity and cinematic scale, while the show itself came to be seen as a benchmark for Indian thrillers.
