UNO accused of slapping youth at Lalmonirhat filling station
The Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Kaliganj in Lalmonirhat district has been accused of slapping a young man standing in a queue at a petrol pump for collecting fuel on behalf of another individual. A video clip of the incident, which took place on Wednesday afternoon, went viral on Facebook, sparking outcry.
The incident occurred at a filling station in the Chaparhat area, where UNO Samima Akter Jahan allegedly slapped the youth in public. In the video clip, the UNO was seen grabbing Nodi Roy by his collar and slapping him several times while he was standing in a queue for petrol.
