Schengen embassies issue important directives for visa holders
The embassies of Schengen countries in Dhaka have issued important instructions for visa holders. They have advised travelers not to deviate from the travel plan submitted during the visa application process.
In a message posted on Monday (27 April 2026) morning on its verified Facebook page, the German Embassy stated that those whose Schengen visas have been approved must follow the travel plan they submitted with their application.
The embassy further noted that traveling outside the approved plan may create complications in obtaining future Schengen visas and could even lead to visa rejection.
Visa holders are advised to complete their travel according to the scheduled itinerary, destination, and purpose. They are also urged to inform the relevant authorities if any changes to the plan become necessary.
