Khelaghar, Chattogram City FC post win in BCL
KhelagharSamajKalyanSamity and ChattogramCity Football Club won their respective matches of the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) football held at two separate venues on Monday.
Held at ShaheedBarkat Stadium in Gazipur,KhelagharSamajKalyanSamityblanked Chittagong Abahani Limited by 2-0 goals with TaninSarkar scored both the goals for the winners' in the 74th and 87th minutes of the match.
In the day's other match held at Bashundhara Kings arena practice ground, Chattogram City Football Club defeated Wari Club by a solitary goal with MosharrafHossain scored the decisive goal forChattogram in the 51st minute of the match.
Earlier, SuktaraJuboSangsad and BRTC Sports Club won their respective matches of the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) football held at two separate venues.
Both the matches earlier abandoned due to inclement weather.
Held at Bashundhara Kings arena practice ground, SuktaraJuboSangsad beat ten men Dhaka Wanderers Club by 2-1 goals.
In the proceeding, Amir Ali and Shohag Mia scored one goal each for Suktara in the 28th and 45+4th minutes respectively after Dhaka Wanderers took lead early through a suicidal goal scored by Asif of Suktara in the 2nd minute.
SujanBiswas of Dhaka Wanderers was sown direct red card by the referee.
In the day's another match held at ShaheedBarkat Stadium in Gazipur.
BRTC Sports Club edged past City Club by solitary goal scored by GolamRabby in the 83rd minute of the match.
