Dhaka Club Employees Union gets new body
A new committee of Dhaka Club Employees Union comprising 13-member has been formed for the year 2026-2027.
The club has elected Md. Jahid Siddiqui and Aktar Hossain respectively as president and general secretary of the body. The election was held on Friday (17 April) at the Tennis Ground of the club.
The other officer bearers are- Vice-President Sree Gulok Majumder, Joint Secretary Md Kamrul Hossain, Sports and Cultural Affairs Secretary Md Yeamin Mia, treasurer Md Asaduzzaman (Shanto), and members Tanvir Dewan, Md Rakibul Hasan, Md Masudur Rahman Masum, Md Abu Taher Sikder, Md Awal Sikder, Fatema Begum and Md Ismail Hossain.
After winning the election, the newly-elected Md. Jahid Siddiqui said, "Our main objective is to work together for the welfare of employees." He sought cooperation from all to run the union in a smooth manner.
