Cleanliness drive conducted in Cumilla city
Cleanliness drive has been conducted at Guingajhuri Canal adjacent to Bishwa Road Tamjid Pump to resolve waterlogging in Cumilla city.
Cumilla City Corporation conducted the drive to resolve waterlogging and ensure relief to the city dwellers from waterlogging.
City Corporation Administrator Yusuf Molla Tipu supervised the work of removing waste from Guingajhuri Canal adjacent to Bishwa Road Tamjid Pump being present at the area.
On the occasion, he urged the city residents not to throw construction materials, garbage, bottles or polythene waste in the drain or canal. He called on everyone to be aware and cooperate in building a clean city.
He emphasized the need for making the environment neat and clean through involving people of all section of the society.
The locals of the city lauded the drive of the city corporation.
