Bangladesh's 2-1 ODI series victory over New Zealand has boosted both team rating points and individual standings in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings.
A trio of fast bowlers from Bangladesh have been the big winners following the latest update to the ICC Men's ODI Player Rankings.
Bangladesh recently completed a narrow 2-1 series triumph over New Zealand at home and it was their quicks that did the damage across the three-game series.
Shoriful Islam, MustafizurRahman and NahidRana collected a total of 18 wickets for Bangladesh during the series triumph and the trio were among the big rises on the rankings for ODI bowlers.
Shoriful gained 11 spots to rise to 28th, Rahman jumped 14 rungs to 41st and Player of the Series Rana moved up 16 slots to 48th following his heroics as Bangladesh's fast bowling stocks gained some traction ahead of next year's ICC Men's Cricket World Cup.
It was a similar story on the latest rankings for ODI batters, with NazmulHossainShanto made a significant leap, rising 11 places to 32nd. The left-hander was the only centurion across both sides in the series. Liton Das also progressed, moving up 15 spots to 65th after scoring 129 runs, including a half-century. All-rounder MehidyHasanMiraz, also the captain of Bangladesh ODI team, advanced to joint third in the ODI all-rounder rankings following his contributions with both bat and ball, accumulating 36 runs and two wickets in the decisive match.
He shares the position with Mohammad Nabi on 275 rating points. AzmatullahOmarzai remains at the top with 329 points, while SikandarRaza holds second place with 276.

There is more joy for Bangladesh players on the updated T20I rankings following the first match of their series with New Zealand and it's a pair of their in-form batters that make the biggest impression.
MahediHasan (up three slots to equal 18th) was the big eye-catcher on the list for T20I bowlers, while there was some upwards movement from a group of Nepal players following the completion of their home series with the UAE.
DipendraAiree (up one place to 60th) and KushalBhurtel (up 18 spots to equal 66th) make gains on the updated rankings for T20I batters, while the duo also jump up the list for T20I all-rounders to fourth and 23rd respectively following their latest exploits.
