Anti-Oppression Journalist Front demands release of journalists
The Anti-Oppression Journalist Front has demanded withdrawal of false and fabricated lawsuits including murder cases lodged against journalists following 5th August 2024 political changeover. Ii also demanded their immediate release.
Convener of the organization Akhtar Hossain and Member Secretary Sheikh Jamal signed a statement in this regard on Sunday on the occasion of the World Press Freedom Day. The platform has said that the dismissed journalists in different media houses have to be reinstated. It has advocated for reopening of the DUJ and BFUJ offices belonging to pro-liberation journalists.
