Acting Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Pawan Badhe has laid emphasis on practicing reciprocal honour between Bangladesh and India to retain good ties between the two countries. Pawan Badhe also commented that Bangladesh-India relationship has made substantial progress in recent times.
Pawan Badhe made the above remarks while addressing a painting exhibition at Gallery Kaya in the capital's Uttar on Saturday (2 May 2026). Artist Ranjit Dash's paintings are on display at Gallery Kaya. Pawan Badhe attended the art exhibition as the chief guest. In total 65 artworks are being exhibited at the event.
The Indian Acting High Commissioner stated that joint efforts to consolidate border cooperation and infrastructural advancement have succeeded between Dhaka and New Delhi. Pawan Badhe further said that mass media, educational institutions and private sector can play efficient roles in deepening trust and amity between India and Bangladesh.
