3 RAB members injured in attack during raid in N'ganj
Three members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) were injured in an attack while attempting to arrest a warrant-listed suspect in Narayanganj. The incident took place in the Masdair Lichubagan area near Boalia Canal on Tuesday. RAB-11 Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Sajjad Hossain confirmed the matter.
Fatullah Model Police chief Mohammad Mahbub Alam said one of the RAB members was sent to Dhaka because his condition was critical. "The other two are receiving treatment in Narayanganj," he said, adding that they have no further information on the attack.However, additional RAB members were seen deployed at the scene along with a police team.
