Batting first after reaching 170-5 in 27.2 overs, Rupganj were lifted by a blistering innings from Samiun, who struck an unbeaten 116 off 70 balls with six fours and 10 sixes.
His innings featured a rapid acceleration. He reached fifty off 37 balls before completing his century in 64 deliveries.
Rupganj went on to post a formidable 358- 8 in their 50 overs. In reply, Bashundhara Strikers were bowled out for 275 in 41.3 overs despite Ziaur Rahman's 61 off 38 balls. Samiun further put an impact by claiming 3-42, completing a match-defining all-round display.

Chasing 210, Mohammedan were reduced to 50-3 before a crucial 127-run partnership between Towhid Hridoy and Taibur Rahman steadied the innings. Hridoy made 82 off 85 balls, while Taibur contributed 74 off 100 balls to guide their side home in 43.1 overs.
