Women's Football Team to play friendly match today in Bangkok
 
Bangladesh Women's National Football Team will player their first closed-door friendly match against Kasem Bundit Women's FC, a Thailand Tier-1 Women's League Club in Bangkok on Monday.

As previously informed, the team's first closed-door friendly match against Kasem Bundit Women's FC , was initially scheduled to take place on Sunday. However, the match has now been rescheduled for Monday following the Head Coach's decision to allow the team an additional day of preparation prior to the first practice match, which will be played at the Alpine Football training Camp (Pitch 1).

Earlier, Bangladesh Women's National Football Team held their third training session on Sunday in Bangkok as part of their ongoing preparation camp ahead of the upcoming SAFF Women's Championship 2026.

Sunday's training session was conducted from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the team's training venue, where the technical staff focused on passing drills, possession-based games and separate communication and position-specific exercises involving the midfielders and defenders. The session concluded with finishing drills and set pieces.

Following the training session, the team completed an ice bath recovery session at the training ground. All players are in good health and there are no injuries within the squad.

Earlier, the Bangladesh women's national football team safely reached in Bangkok, Thailand on Thursday evening for a two-week overseas training camp as part of the preparation for the upcoming SAFF Women's Championship.

During the camp in Bangkok, Bangladesh will play two close-door practice matches against Thailand Tier-1 Women's League clubs, Kasem Bundit FC and Bangkok Sports School Club FC on May 17. 

The team is scheduled to leave for India on May 22, following the completion of the camp.

Bangladesh will face hosts Maldives on May 28 and India on May 31 in their group-stage matches.

The squad includes Rupna Chakma, Mile Akter, Swarna Rani Mandal, Halima Akter, Sheuli Azim, Afeida Khandakar (captain), Surma Jannat, Kohati Kisku, Surovi Akter, Shamsunnahar (Sr.), Unnoti Khatun, Arpita Biswas, Momita Khatun, Maria Manda, Monika Chakma, Shaheda Akter Ripa, Ritu Porna Chakma, Umehla Marma, Sagarika, Tohura Khatun, Anika Rania Siddique, Sauravi Akanda Prity and Shamsunnahar (Jr.).
