Kaarina Kaisar airlifted to Chennai for advanced

Young content creator and actor Kaarina Kaisar was taken to Chennai on Monday by an air ambulance for advanced treatment after being placed on life support due to severe liver complications.

Kaarina flew for Chennai boarding an air ambulance at around 11pm on Monday from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. She was admitted to a hospital there early Tuesday.

Kaarina Kaisar was accompanied by her mother and two brothers. Her father Kaisar Hamid, a former footballer of Bangladesh national team, reportedly remains in Bangladesh for now as he has to arrange money necessary for the treatment of his daughter.

Family sources said Karina had been unwell for several days. What initially appeared to be a common illness later deteriorated rapidly.

After being admitted to hospital, doctors reportedly detected an infection and confirmed that she had contracted Hepatitis A. She had also been suffering from fatty liver complications beforehand. As her condition worsened, she suffered liver failure last Friday (May 8) and was subsequently placed on life support.
