Youth held with pipe gun in N'ganj

Police arrested a youth with a country-made iron pipe gun and a cartridge shell in Siddhirganj of Narayanganj. The arrestee has been identified as Md. Murad (30), son of Kamal Hossain of Godnail No. 2 Dhakeshwari Chairman Office area in Siddhirganj. Siddhirganj Police Station OC Mohammad Emdadul Haque confirmed the matter on Tuesday afternoon.  He said, "A special operation was conducted in Madinabag area of Siddhirganj on Monday night. 

During the operation, a suspicious youth was arrested and after a search, a country-made iron pipe gun and a cartridge shell were recovered from his custody." A case has been registered against the accused in this regard. The process of sending him to a learned court is underway, he added.
