Cumilla police secures 3rd place in arms recovery
Cumilla District Police has secured 3rd place in Group 'A' in illegal firearms recovery among all units in Bangladesh in the year 2025.
Cumilla District Police received the award in recognition of the illegal firearms recovery operation and overall activities in crime control at a program organized on the occasion of Police Week-2026.
The award was handed over at a program held at Rajarbagh Police Lines on the third day of Police Week (May 12, 2026).
Inspector General of Bangladesh Police (IGP) Md. Ali Hossain Fakir handed over the award to the Cumilla District Police.
Superintendent of Police Md. Anisuzzaman, PPM, received the award on behalf of the Cumilla District Police.
The District Police informed that this achievement is the result of the combined efforts and professionalism of every member of the district, including the Crime Department.
